Victron Centaur Battery Charger

The Victron Energy Centaur battery chargers are heavy-duty, analog control, no-nonsense devices for serious Pb battery bank installations.

NOT FOR USE with LFP or other non-Pb chemistry battery banks!

The case is of epoxy powder coated aluminum with stainless steel hardware. Circuit board is protected with an acrylic coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Centaurs weigh about a third more than most modern chargers, and are supported by an outstanding 5-year worldwide warranty.

These Victron chargers accept 90-265 (50/60hz) volts AC input for worldwide use. Three isolated outputs can simultaneously charge 3 battery banks, and each leg is capable of supplying the full rated current. An analog current meter displays the output current. A dip switch is used to select battery type: flooded Lead-acid, gel or AGM. Temperature compensation is via a sensor in the charger that senses ambient temperature and adjusts the output voltage as needed. There is no remote sensor.

The Victron Centaur battery chargers are stand-alone devices, and do not connect to Victron's network system.
