Abbe Minor

Designer: The Luna Van
Title

Abbe Minor is a visionary van builder, adventurer, and designer known for her innovative approach to mobile living. Growing up on her family’s campground in Connecticut, she developed a hands-on, resourceful mindset that led her to renovate RVs and cabins before earning a degree in Real Estate Investment from UConn. Her passion for design took off with her first Sprinter build, evolving into a career that blends craftsmanship with creativity. 

 

She is the force behind the LUNA Van, Rogue Van Company’s most modern and stylish design, featuring high-end materials, modular cabinetry, and warm, inviting aesthetics. Abbe believes a living space should be a sanctuary—functional, beautiful, and inspiring, no matter where the road leads.

Rob Machado, legendary surfer and environmental advocate, brings his signature laid-back style and deep connection to nature into his vision for a van. Prioritizing simplicity, functionality, and sustainability, he wanted a van that could seamlessly support his surf lifestyle—room for boards, efficient storage, and an open, breathable design that feels as natural as the ocean itself. Collaborating with Rogue Van Company, he helped create the Rogue Wave Van, a build that embodies his ethos of adventure and minimalism.

Shane Wright

Title

Shane Wright, founder of Landship Customs, started building tiny spaces to skip rent while studying sustainable energy at UC Berkeley. Living in a van became both a financial solution and a hands-on lesson in off-grid innovation, from solar power to efficient water systems. After working in renewable energy, he hit the road during the pandemic and realized he wanted to help others experience that same freedom. Partnering with master woodworkers, he launched Landship Customs that now partners with Rogue Vans to create vans that blend timeless craftsmanship with cutting-edge sustainability.
